A cookery course in Umbria, Umbertide

 

The Umbrian Cookery is rich, healthy, tasteful and genuine. Aren't you curious which dishes are served on the table of the Umbrian families. During the cooking course you will make acquaintance with these typical Umbrian recipes like the 'bruschette', the 'crostini', 'la torta al testo', 'penne fantasia', 'pasta alla Norcina', the sweet from Assisi 'la Rocciata'.....

 

 

Overnight stays and cooking course (min. 2 participants) in a holiday farm near Umbertide. During the cookery course Mariolina will learn you how to make handmade pasta, gnocchi, torta al testo, pizza, tigelle and a cake. 

You will have enough time to visit also the interesting small medieval towns in the surroundings like Città di Castello with the two Albert Burri museums and Gubbio.

Day 1

Arrival and welcome diner

 

Day 2

Morning breakfast and free morning to visit the surrounding towns

 

Afternoon visit winery and wine-tasting, cooking course (English translator available) and a dinner, where you will taste the recipes of the cookery course.

 

Day 3

Morning breakfast 

           

Afternoon truffle - search (in months allowed, otherwise a demonstration), cookery course and dinner with tasting of some truffle recipes

 

Day 4

Breakfast and departure
