Two days of cycling through the green 'Valle Umbra'. A many-sided tour in which nature, culture and of course wine-tasting are combined. Did you know that this valley has no less than four famous wine areas: Torgiano DOCG, Assisi DOC, Montefalco DOCG and Monte Martani DOC
Program
| Day 1 | Arrival
You will stay in a residence, which is situated in a wonderful position in the medieval centre of Spello There is a lovely walled garden with a beautiful view over the Valle Umbra. The rooms all have a private bathroom. At the end of the afternoon you will be expected in a wine bar for a special kind of dinner. You will be able to sample the Umbrian wines and 'tasters' such as bruschette seasoned with a pâté of tomatoes, white and black truffles, different cheeses and cured ham.

| Day 2 | The Montefalco wine area
The next morning you still have time to visit Spello. Afterwards you will bike through the valley, first to the lively town of Foligno and then among vineyards to Bevagna, a town with Roman origins. Bevagna is situated in the Montefalco wine area where the Sagrantino DOCG and the Rosso di Montefalco DOC vineyards are. At the end of the afternoon you will visit an organic wine grower. Next you will bike to your B & B in Torgiano. All rooms are well equipped, with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, safe for valuables and television. In the garden there is a swimming pool. In the evening you will dine in a restaurant close to your hotel. This 'menu degustazione' is a marvellous way to discover the Umbrian cookery.

| Day 3 |
Assisi and Spello
After breakfast you will bike, mostly over quiet country roads, along the valley to Assisi. To reach the old centre you will have to climb steeply, but it's certainly worthwhile because Assisi is a lovely, really picturesque town. After your visit you will cycle along the slopes of Mount Subasio to a local wine-grower. You will visit his wine cellars and taste his special Assisi DOC wines. After the tasting it is a short cycle to get to the Residence in Spello. In the evening you are free to dine in one of the several good restaurants in Spello.
