Programme of 5-day / 4-night tour

Day 1 | Arrival at your hotel the Abbey of Collemedio

Individual arrival at the abbey.

In the afternoon an Italian Welcome Aperitive with cold cuts and Umbrian cheeses.

Day 2 | Cooking class and visiting Perugia

This morning immerse yourself in the flavors of Umbria with a hands-on cooking class where you’ll prepare traditional dishes from scratch. Learn to make Strangozzi, a delicious handmade pasta, followed by a rich and creamy Flan di Patate. To finish, indulge your sweet tooth by creating the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisù. After cooking, enjoy a leisurely lunch, savoring the fruits of your labor with a glass of local wine. A perfect experience for food lovers looking to discover the heart of Umbrian cuisine!

In the afternoon free time to relax in the swimming pool or Spa. You could also visit the town of Perugia.

Day 3 | Exploring the truffle and the wines of Montefalco

At 10.00 in the morning, you are expected at Montefalco. Just outside the walls is the truffle field where the truffle hunter is waiting for you. After it, you will have to taste the truffles inthe  Montefalco centre: appetizers combined with a Montefalco wine

You have time to visit Montefalco and its lovely medieval centre

After lunch at 15.30 meet with your guide at the winery.
You make a short and easy walk through the vineyards, where your guide will explain all about wine growing. After the visit of the vineyards you will taste the Montefalco wines combined with bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil and/or local salami & cheeses.

Day 4 | Olive oil of the Valle Umbra and visiting Assisi

Umbria, often called the “green heart of Italy,” has a deep-rooted tradition of producing exceptional extra virgin olive oil. With its rolling hills and favorable climate, the region provides the perfect environment for cultivating olive trees, yielding fruits rich in flavor and nutritional value.

This morning, you’ll visit a family-run olive oil mill, where the owners will take you on a sensory journey, offering a fresh perspective on olive oil. Discover the art of tasting and learn how to pair different olive oils with a variety of dishes, enhancing their flavors in ways you never imagined.
